Today, April 9th, we began a new chapter in our knowledge-sharing strategy with the first edition of IDW Tech Bites. To mark the launch of this concept, we chose a setting equal to the event's exclusivity: the iconic JNcQUOI Club in Lisbon.
The theme for this inaugural session was "Security & Networking ReAImagined," where we explored how the convergence of security and connectivity—enhanced by Artificial Intelligence—is redefining the resilience of modern organizations.
For this first gathering, we relied on the sponsorship and strategic partnership of Netskope. Netskope Portugal’s Country Manager, Paulo Vieira, shared a clear vision of the evolution of security architectures in a world where the traditional perimeter no longer exists. He highlighted the importance of solutions that balance rigorous protection with optimized performance.
One of the most valuable moments of the morning was the roundtable discussion, enriched by the practical testimony of a leading client from the financial sector. This authentic exchange allowed guests to discuss the real challenges of implementing Zero Trust strategies and managing security within highly regulated and complex environments.
Following the technical sessions, the discussion extended into a networking lunch. The "Tech Bites" concept was born precisely from this premise: pairing high-relevance technological content with moments of proximity and dialogue among IT leaders, creating a solid and informal collaborative network.
This first event marks the kickoff of a series of initiatives where we will continue to bring the most innovative technological solutions—such as those from Netskope—to the center of our clients' strategic discussions.
