We collect only the information necessary for each type of activity and do not keep it longer than strictly necessary.
The information we collect is used to measure your degree of correspondence with the opportunity (s) open. It is not mandatory that you provide us with everything we request, although not providing the necessary information may hinder the process of analyzing your application.
In a normal process we will ask for personal data including name and contact details. We will also ask for data such as your previous professional experience, education and issues relevant to the open opportunity. We may in certain specific situations (and if the open position requires it) need to request additional data, such as your immigration status, information related to your health, information or miscellaneous data about any criminal convictions.
3. Who do we share your data with?
Your data may be transmitted to subcontractors for processing on behalf of IDW. In this case IDW takes the necessary contractual measures to ensure that these subcontractors respect and protect your personal data. Your data may also be transmitted to third parties, for example companies with whom IDW develop partnerships. In these situations, your consent will always be required. They may also be transmitted to entities to whom the data must be communicated by law, such as the tax authority in contracting situations.
Where such transfers exist, IDW guarantees that your data will be processed within the countries that the European Union considers that the legislation on the protection of personal data guarantees the adequate protection of your information.
4. How long do we keep the information we collect?
If you become a contributor to IDW, your data will be kept in the employee file until the termination of the employment contract, plus 12 years to comply with legal obligations.
The information collected in selection processes, and by legal obligation, will be kept for 5 years from the moment of collection.
If you exercise your right to be forgotten about data that have a legal obligation to store it, we will stop all processing of your data but we will only be able to delete them once the legal deadline for their retention has expired.
5. On what basis can we process your personal data?
Legitimate interest
When the processing of data corresponds to a legitimate interest on the part of IDW.
An example of this rationale is the possibility of contacting you with a concrete job offer. We have a legitimate interest in contacting you, needing to guarantee your reading and approval of this Privacy Policy and your consent to process your data after this first contact.
Consent
When we have your prior express consent in a free and informed way — in writing or by validating an option digitally.
Examples are consent to process your data as part of a certain recruitment process or to process your data in job offers similar to the one for which you applied.
Execution of the contract and pre-contractual steps
When the processing of personal data is necessary for the conclusion, execution and management of contracts concluded with IDW.
Examples are contracts concluded with employees, billing management, collections and payments.

When the processing of personal data is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which IDW is subject.

6. What are your rights in relation to your data?
At any time, you can request
IDW:
● access to the information we have about you;
● rectification of information if it is incorrect or incomplete;
● to delete or limit the processing of your personal data;
● the provision of your personal data, “in a structured, commonly used and automatically readable format”, for personal use and/or the transmission of the same to another controller;
Your requests will be treated with special care so that we can ensure the effectiveness of the exercise of your rights. To ensure security in the process, you may be asked to prove your identity in order to ensure that your personal data is shared only with you.
You will be informed of the measures taken to guarantee the exercise of your right, within a maximum period of 30 days from the moment the request is received by
IDW.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Authority - a
CNPD (https://www.cnpd.pt/).
If consent is legally necessary for the processing of your personal data, you may withdraw consent at any time, although this right does not compromise the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the previously given consent or the subsequent processing of the same data, based on another legal basis, such as the fulfillment of the contract or the legal obligation to which
