With roots in Judo and Basketball, Mafalda found her true passion in OCR in 2022. Representing your home club, the Gonçalvinhense Recreational Group, Mafalda has had a meteoric rise, becoming the best Portuguese athlete today.

Mafalda joins the IDW team with a curriculum that commands respect at an international level:

• 2025:World Champion (Sweden) and European Champion (Portugal) in his class; Bi-Absolute National Champion; Best Athlete Award and International Merit by FPOCR.
• 2024:OCRWC 12km World Champion and 3km Vice World Champion; 1st place in the Elite national ranking.
• 2023:Absolute National Champion (100m) and direct entry to the National Team.
