Profile: 

- At least 4 years' experience in database management system administration; MCDBA - Microsoft Certified Database Administrator certification. 

- Professional experience in the following areas:

- Installation and administration of SQL Server database management systems in versions 2008 to 2017, including clusters;

- Installation and administration of opensource database management systems, particularly MySQL.

 

Tasks:

- Database Management System: SQL Server and MySQL;

- Execution of routines and procedures on request; 

- Proposing and implementing improvements;

- Cluster configuration;

- Defining/building/optimising database models and schemas;

- Applying methods and tools to measure and report performance indicators related to datasets (response time, availability, security, integrity, etc.); 

- Prepare procedures and instructions related to datasets for other technicians or administrators; 

- Monitoring and maintaining database management systems;

- Ensuring the integrity and security of database management systems;

- Identify, investigate and correct incidents or problems related to database management systems; 

- Providing training, support and advice on issues related to datasets to other TIC professionals.
