Tasks: 

 

-Good working knowledge of SQL Server 2008/2012/2017 - Administration and Development

-Knowledge of Optimisation techniques, including but not limited to; Profiling, Indexing, routine maintenance, Server configuration, file structures etc

-Knowledge of developing in SSIS

-Experience working with extended events in SQL Server

-Hands on experience in the monitoring Identifying and fixing faults on all SQL environments, Dev, Test, QA etc

-Advanced T-SQL, inc Windowing functions

-Creating and maintaining credentials • Query tuning (including adaptive query processing)

-Job control

-Performance troubleshooting

-Experience with SQL Server 2019

-Experience interpreting Query plans

-Working Knowledge of third-party tools i.e., tSQL & Redgate tools.

-Experience working with Query Store • Powershell experience • An understanding of backing up to Storage Accounts

-Experience with Azure technologies

-Experience with replication

-Index tuning

-View tuning

-VLF control

-Experience working in an Agile environment

-Experience with Azure DevOps

-Experience with Jira

-Experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Integration Runtime

-Experience with Azure Databricks, Data Lake

-Experience with Python
